Berry Compote

 
 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup Frozen Mixed Berries

  • 1/4 Cup Pomegranate (or Cranberry) Juice

  • 1 TBSP Chia Seeds

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add frozen berries and juice to a stove top pot on medium heat.

  2. Once the berries and juice start bubbling, add in chia seeds.

  3. Use a potato masher (or fork) to mash up the berries. Mash until you reach a consistency you like.

  4. Allow mashed berries to cook for 2-3 more minutes, or until the mixture thickens.

  5. Allow to cool and add to your favorite breakfast item or yogurt.

  6. ENJOY!
